Dr. Nicole Main is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Health and Care Professions Council registered Practitioner Psychologist, who qualified in 2003 from the Institute of Psychiatry. Dr. Main has since completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) from Oxford University and is an accredited member of the British Association of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).
Since qualifying Dr. Main has worked for Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust, initially as a clinical psychologist in a Community Mental Health Team and an Outpatient Psychological Therapy Service, and more recently as Head of Barnet and Enfield Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Services. She specialises in treating adults with anxiety, depression and low self-esteem. Currently Dr Main’s face to face clinic is in the Hertfordshire town of Rickmansworth (Monday daytime). Dr Main is registered with Axa, Aviva , Vitality Health and BUPA, as well as WPA and Cigna.
